Date: Saturday 18 April 2009

Time: 10am-4pm (lunch 12.30pm-1.30pm)

Venue: Waterloo Hotel

Artist(s): Wendy Couling

Cost: £10 per person

Spaces: 10

Event Details:

"These fragmented images, though they may appear distorted by form and colour, are glimpses of reality, which once existed in the outer world but remain an experience of reflection."

Discover an array of techniques and imagery by developing the use of mixed media and Collage in your sketchbook, and later applying these new skills onto a final piece of work. Also in this session Wendy will also look at and discuss a range of artists whose work is developed from the use of mixed media.

Participants on this workshop will gain an insight into Wendy's work and discover the unique way this artist works with mixed media.

Students should bring their sketchbook and some photographs to work with. Also bring lunch unless you want to pop out for something. Materials are provided.
